While we will be sure to get *some* more posed, "smiling in place" images for your mama to want to frame-- my approach is more documentary style in nature. It places an emphasis on candids + the genuine moments.

A: Abso-freaking-lutely. Margaret Lodge Photography LLC is a legally owned & operated business, including being licensed & insured.
Q: how many images can we expect back in our final gallery?
A: While the number of images you receive can have many factors (lighting, weather conditions, the general amount of events of the day, etc)-- industry standard is around 50-100 images per hour of coverage.
Q: is the initial deposit non-refundable?
A: Yes, the initial deposit due upon signing the contract is non-refundable. This ensures that I am able to book & hold your date on my calendar, & reserve it specifically for you.
Q: do you offer assistance with planning our timeline?
A: Of course! While I do not play the role of a wedding planner and/or day of coordinator, I am always more than happy to offer assistance with helping maximize your wedding day timeline. This helps ensure that everyone is all on the same page + things run smoothly, as well as helps coordinate the best lighting.
Q: do you have any other specific vendors you can recommend?
A: Always! Seeing as I have been in the wedding photography industry for over 10 years now-- I have made many vendor connections, & am glad to refer you to my favs!
Q: Are there travel and overnight fees for your services?
A: I have a standard radius that I operate directly within (locally speaking), which is at no additional cost. However, for further travel and/or far enough away that the location requires an overnight stay, additional travel fees may apply.
Q: do you location scout and have go-to spots for sessions?
A: Of course! I always either location scout beforehand, or arrive to the area prior to the session to be on the lookout for a great spot. However, I also have a ton of local personal favs that I can recommend.
Q: What is the estimated turn around time to receive the images?
A: The industry standard turn around time varies-- however is typically up to 2 weeks for sessions, and up to 6-8 weeks for weddings. MLP operates on that timeline as well, but you do receive a sneak peek gallery in the meantime! I know it is exciting + the anticipation is killin' ya-- so you have the highlights to look forward to, while the rest are finalized.
Q: what are your hours of operation & response times?
A: MLP is open Monday-Friday, from 9am-5pm. You can generally expect a response back via email within 24 hours during business days. However, for super urgent matters or immediate upcoming weddings-- my business number is available to text.

After selecting your preferred session or wedding collection, you'll be able to sign the contract & make a deposit to reserve your time/date online.

We will plan and coordinate your session or wedding-- and make some photo magic! You will receive a sneak peek gallery while your full gallery is being processed + edited to perfection.
